Trotz größter Anstrengung geraten sie immer tiefer in ihr völlig verrücktes Schlamassel und es dauert immer geraume Zeit, bis sich die Lage wieder einigermaßen normalisiert - aber was ist bei dieser liebenswerten, aber völlig abgedrehten Familie schon normal! Super Idee: Die Autorin (vgl. auch "Große Ferien", BA 8/07, und "Der Blaubeersommer", BA 3/05) bittet die Leserinnen und Leser um Hilfe; deren Vorschläge zur Problemlösung machen die Verwirrung aber eher größer. Herrlich absurde Geschichten - unglaublich schräg und voller Situationskomik; wunderbar geeignet zum Vorlesen und breit empfohlen. . - Die ziemlich durchgeknallten Peppins aus Primeltown, Kanada, haben die verrücktesten Probleme: Frösche in den Schuhen oder eine Kuh, die plötzlich Limonade statt Milch gibt ... Bis alles wieder in Ordnung kommt, passiert Unglaubliches. Ab 9.
