TON-E Die Sopranistin Sabine Devieilhe gehört nicht nur zu den international umjubelten Shootingstars der Opernszene. Auch in ihrer Diskografie sorgt sie immer wieder für Überraschungen. Mit untrüglichem Gespür führt sie ihr Publikum zu Nahtstellen des Opernrepertoires - so mit einer Ausleuchtung des Werkes von Jean-Philippe Rameau, mit ihrem originellen Fokus auf die Damen aus der mit Mozart verschwägerten Weber-Familie sowie Mozarts genialem Frühwerk Mitridate. Letzteres brachte sie mit der Alte-Musik-Expertin Emmanuelle Haïm zusammen, mit der sie in Aix en Provence Triumphe mit Händels Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno feierte. Nun erobert sie die frühen Geniestreiche des jungen Barockmeisters. Den Hallenser hatte es mit gut 20 Jahren ins gelobte Land der Musik Italien gezogen, wo er sofort erste Meriten erlangte. In Rom, wo die Gattung Oper bestimmten Verboten unterlag, gab man festliche Konzerte fern von der Öffentlichkeit in fürstlichen Häusern - mit so genannten Solo- und Duettkantaten, die einer dramatischen Handlung folgten und doch so etwas wie verkappte Bühnenwerke waren. In diese Gattung legte Händel seine ganze kreative Kraft. Seine Klänge erweckten schon hier, lange vor den großen Opernerfolgen in England, die auf barocken Bühnen so gern gesehenen Figuren wie Armida oder Lucrezia zum Leben. Sabine Devieilhe erobert dieses erste Aufblühen eines der größten Komponisten aller Zeiten im Kammermusikalischen voller mitreißender Ausdruckskraft und Virtuosität. In der Duettkantate Aminta e Fillide, einer in die damals beliebten Schäferszenerien eingebetteten Liebesgeschichte, singt sie (in einer Hosenrolle) mit der Mezzosopranistin Léa Desandre, die auch den Solopart in der Kantate La Lucrezia übernimmt. Die Sängerin, eine Schülerin von Sara Mingardo, gewann 2017 den Newcomer Award des renommierten französischen Victoires de la Musique Classique.
