On April 5, 2000, millions of television viewers got alarmed by the news of the guerilla group "Commando Sabino Navarro" arming themselves at the poorest landscape of Argentina for a fight against the system. The pictures show the leaders with black masks in the jungle of Entre Ríos. But the very evening it became clear that everything was a fake. Initiators are the activists José María Lima, Carlos Sánchez and Patricia Rivero. Later director Nicólas Herzog convinced them to restage their own history. The result is a film in a film, thriller and documentation at the same time - also about the role of mass media designing the reality we live in. (Frankfurter Kunstverein)
