Diese Sachinformationen sind teilweise recht detailliert und speziell (Chanting, Belting, Crooning). Der Schwerpunkt des Bandes liegt aber auf der Stimme: Funktion des Stimmapparats, Stimmtraining und -pflege, Körperhaltung, Atmung, Interpretation u.a. Viele Kästchen "Probier's doch mal" geben Anregungen und Anleitungen zu Stimm- und Atemübungen und zum eigenen Singen. Diese Informationen sind für die Zielgruppe gut aufbereitet, sinnvoll bebildert und sehr gut geeignet, die Stimme bewusst wahrzunehmen und zu schulen. Auf der beiliegenden CD wird der Text wortgetreu vorgelesen. Ob dieses Konzept von Leseförderung funktioniert, mag man bezweifeln. Die meisten Bücher übers Singen und über die Stimme richten sich an Erwachsene, die mit Kindern singen. Dieser Band richtet sich an die Kinder selbst, für Grundschüler gibt es nichts Vergleichbares.
