La problématique de ce travail est liée à celle des théories de l'expression en art. Nous voulons savoir comment est possible la communication intersubjective à partir d'une expression originaire reposant essentiellement sur les éléments formels, sans l'intermédiaire de concepts, ni celui des éléments propositionnels. Nous voulons savoir quel rôle joue l'œuvre d'art dans la communication non verbale entre artiste et spectateur. Nous traitons la problématique à partir de la relation triangulaire entre l'expression artistique, la forme signifiante et le sentiment esthétique. Nous essayons de résoudre le problème de l'expression originaire en art visuel en le déplaçant dans le contexte du jugement esthétique. La tâche essentielle pour nous est de traduire cette relation triangulaire en termes de formation du jugement de goût, d'expression du sentiment esthétique et de perception de la propriété esthétique que nous situions dans un contexte de l'interaction affect-cognition. Nous défendons une forme de réalisme esthétique appuyé sur le réalisme scientifique de l'affectivité, notamment, la théorie James-Lange et les théories d'appraisal, à partir duquel nous déclarons que les propriétés affectives sont les propriétés qui ont affaire avec l'état du sujet percevant. Nous développons un modèle d'appraisal esthétique afin d'expliquer le traitement d'une œuvre d'art et les processus de fabrique de jugement esthétique dans notre esprit. L'objectif de notre approche est de proposer les variables du jugement esthétique, ainsi que d'expliquer pourquoi dans telle ou telle condition l'objet esthétique est jugé beau ou sublime, et pourquoi dans telle ou telle condition il ne l'est pas

The aim of this dissertation is to contribute to a critical review of the theories of expression in an, and to understand how a work of art communicates an inspired idea of the artist to the beholders in a non-verbal way. We presume that the pictorial presentation is a primary form of non-verbal expression of aesthetic feelings, and that its intersubjective communicability is based on formal elements, such as colors and lines, which Bell calls "significant forms," and which Langer calls "symbolic forms." The problem is treated as a triad between (1) the artistic creation as an act of expression, (2) the aesthetic feeling, as the motivational condition of (1), and the meaningful content of (3) the significant farm, as the relevant property of the work of artistic creation and the vehicle of the aesthetic feeling. Our strategy is to relocate the question in the theoretical context of aesthetic judgement, and to interpret this triad in terms of the formation of the judgement of taste, the expression of an aesthetic feeling, and the perception of the aesthetic property that we situate in a theoretical framework of affect-cognition interaction. We defend the aesthetic realism on the basis of the scientific realism of affectivity, such as the James-Lange theory and the appraisal theories of emotion, whereupon we claim that the affective properties are real, in that they are about the body of the perceiving subject, of which the truth conditions are to be the neurophysiologie states observable and verifiable by functionalist approaches, and empirical methods. We put forward a model of aesthetic appraisal to explain the perceptual and evaluative processing of aesthetic judgement
