Carl Peters (Vorname auch: Karl *1856 in Neuhaus/Elbe, Königreich Hannover; † 1918 in Bad Harzburg, Herzogtum Braunschweig, Deutsches Reich) war ein deutscher Politiker, Publizist, Kolonialist und Afrikaforscher mit stark ausgeprägter rassistischer Einstellung. Er gilt als Begründer der Kolonie Deutsch-Ostafrika ...
