Dieser Titel vermittelt hierzu verständlich und kompakt alles Wissenswerte: Hinweise zur persönlichen Arbeitssituation, wissenschaftliche Arbeitstechniken (Arbeit mit Texten, empirische Methoden, Analyse von statistischem Material), Themenfindung, Informationsbeschaffung, Aufarbeitung und Strukturierung des Materials, das Schreiben der Arbeit selbst, Vortrag und Präsentation. Gut strukturiert und typografisch eingängig, mit Zusammenfassungen und vor allem (recht umfangreichen) Trainingseinheiten am Ende eines jeden Kapitels. Insgesamt ein inhaltlich runder, praxisorientierter Titel, der wie z.B. "Alles mit Methode" oder Jürg Niederhauser (hier zuletzt BA 11/09 bzw. ID-A 18/15) breit zur Vermittlung grundlegender Kompetenzen des wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens eingesetzt werden kann.
