Uniform Title: String Quartet No. 4
Content: An unusual triptych that coalesces into something truly breathtaking, this triple choreography by the great Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker represents a decade of her creation (1986-1995) with audacious and indelible settings of well-known works: Bartók's String Quartet No. 4, Beethoven's Grosse Fuge, and Schoenberg's Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night). De Keersmaeker's choreographies, in intimate dialogue with the music, evoke all the nuances of passion: need, defiance, and escalating stakes. Principals, firsts, and the splendid corps de ballet of the prestigious Paris Opera lend their considerable talents to the realization of the great artist's vision in Paris's legendary Palais Garnier. One of Belgium's most celebrated artists, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker founded the ensemble Rosas, which was the ballet in residence at Brussels's La Monnaie for fifteen years. During that time, they garnered significant critical and popular acclaim, and De Keersmaeker's contributions to the ballet world earned her the title of baroness by King Albert II of Belgium

Uniform Title: Partita No. 2 in C Minor, BWV 826
Content: Bruno Monsaigneon's camera captures the brilliant Piotr Anderszewski in an introspective recital of works for solo piano by Schumann, Bach, and Szymanowski. Opening and closing the program are two works by Robert Schumann with strongly contrasting characters. The first is his rarely performed Grande Humoresque, one of the composer's very few pieces that have a humorous character; the second, Songs of the Dawn, was written composed during his later years when he was already suffering from a mental disorder, and belongs to an abstract and poetic world. The pieces frame a selection of typical contrapuntal Partitas by Bach. The final selection is Polish composer Karol Szymanowski's Masques, which explores the tales of three fictional characters: Sheherezade, Tristán, and Don Juan

Uniform Title: I trionfi del fato
Content: Cecilia Bartoli unearths a spellbinding selection of arias ranging from the explosively energetic ("Svenati, struggiti, combatti") to the ethereally beautiful ("Sfere amiche"), all by Agostino Steffani—"a forgotten genius," according to the beloved diva, "who's been overlooked for far too long." The Roman mezzo-soprano, who possesses one of the most spectacular voices of our time—as well as superhuman lung capacity, incredible vocal agility, and stunning expressivity—is also a champion of lesser-known repertoire, bringing to light composers like Steffani, a singer, instrumentalist, diplomat, and Venetian bishop of the Baroque period. With the impeccable musicians of period orchestra I Barrocchisti under Diego Fasolis, as well as a special appearance by renowned countertenor Philippe Jaroussky, Steffani's music resonates grandly—as if for the very first time—amid the marbled and golden opulence of the Palace of Versailles. This dazzling audiovisual production is a prime example of the boldness, willingness to take risks, and faultless vocal prowess that have won the virtuosic Bartoli such a singular and brilliant career
