Exkommunikationsbrief mit Notarsignet "Kelch" des Johannes Lintcz. Zum historischen Hintergrund: 1434 war die Stadt Elbogen von Kaiser Sigismund an den Kanzler Kaspar Schlick verpfändet worden, der die Pfandherrschaft seinem Bruder Matthias Schlick übertrug. Nach andauernden gewaltsamen Auseinandersetzungen mit der Bürgerschaft sollte die Stadt an die Herzöge von Sachsen weiterverpfändet werden. Nach Plünderungen und Bränden in Folge der Unterwerfung Elbogens durch Schlick und seine Söhne sprach Papst Sixtus IV. 1484 gegen Schlick und seine Anhänger das Interdikt aus, das von Innozenz VIII. erneuert wurde.
