Die Aussage „Stimmungen und Gefühle blockieren logisches Denken, unsere Entscheidungen und unsere Aufmerksamkeit“ fasst eine teilweise vertretene und wenig positive Meinung über unsere emotionalen Zustände zusammen. Dass Stimmungen auf unsere kognitiven Prozesse und Leistungen jedoch positiv einwirken können und ohne Gefühle manche kognitive Aufgabe gar nicht lösbar wäre, zeigt sich, wenn man die Sache genauer betrachtet. Im Beitrag gehen wir auf verschiedene kognitive Prozesse (Lernen, Aufmerksamkeit etc.) ein und geben eine Einführung, wie diese durch Stimmungen beeinflusst werden.
