Dieses Buch präsentiert die Ergebnisse einer empirischen Studie in Kooperation mit dem Schweizerischen Pensionskassenverband (ASIP) über das Anlageverhalten von Schweizer institutionellen Investoren in Bezug auf direkte und indirekte Immobilienanlagen im Inland und Ausland sowie Investitionen in Infrastruktur. Im Fokus dieser, im Jahr 2022 durchgeführten Studie stehen insbesondere die Dimensionen Nachhaltigkeit als Investitionskriterium sowie Infrastruktur als Anlagekategorie, welche kritisch analysiert und detailliert diskutiert werden. Die Primärdaten dieser empirischen Forschungsarbeit wurden mittels einer Erhebung bei institutionellen Investoren in der Schweiz, u.a. bei Vorsorgeeinrichtungen, Versicherungen und Family Offices, erhoben. Basierend auf einer statistischen Analyse der Veränderungen in den Portfolios der Investoren und im Immobilienmarkt werden aktuelle bzw. zukünftige Trends wie auch Managementherausforderungen identifiziert und mittels Gegenüberstellung mit bisherigen Studienergebnissen Lösungsansätze sowie konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen für die Praxis abgeleitet.
