Der Autor stellt einen umfassenden Vergleich der rechtswissenschaftlichen Befunde an und bedient sich dabei quantitativer Ansätze der Sozialwissenschaften. Die resultierende Gesamtschau erlaubt eine Betrachtung von Optimierungsansätzen für den Grundrechtsschutz der Grundrechtsträger gegen grundrechtsverletzende Unionsrechtsakte, namentlich eine optimierte Wahl des Rechtsaktes bei der Rechtsetzung der Europäischen Union.
