Content:
Gegenstand dieser Arbeit ist die Auseinandersetzung mit der audiovisuellen Filmgestaltung und deren Wirkung sowie mit den zugrunde liegenden Wahrnehmungsprozessen. Trotz der, durch komplexe Herstellungsprozesse und individuelle Rezeption bedingten, unbestrittenen Einmaligkeit eines jeden Werkes, gibt es offensichtlich Filme, die von der Mehrheit der Zuschauer als packender, emotional berührender bzw. spannender empfunden werden, als andere. Die Arbeit zeigt, wie sehr dieser spezifische Eindruck von der Gestaltung des Films abhängen kann, und wie sich diese und der Inhalt eines Films gegenseitig bedingen. Es werden Theorien und Modelle zur Wirkung der Gestaltung von Bild und Ton betrachtet und eigene Überlegungen zur Kategorisierung von Gestaltungsweisen anhand deren emotionaler Wirkung auf den Betrachter vorgestellt. Diese Arbeit soll einen Beitrag dazu leisten, die emotionale Wirkung von Filmen besser beschreiben zu können.
