Der Nürnberger Hauptkriegsverbrecherprozess gegen Verantwortliche für die nationalsozialistischen Gewaltverbrechen fand weltweit Beachtung und gilt als Meilenstein der Rechtsgeschichte. Weniger bekannt ist, dass die Alliierten hunderte weiterer Prozesse durchführten. Das Curiohaus in Hamburg war von 1945 bis 1949 der wichtigste Gerichtsort für die Kriegsverbrecherprozesse in der Britischen Zone. Hier fanden 188 Militärgerichtsverfahren gegen 504 Angeklagte statt. Wer waren diese Angeklagten? Für welche Verbrechen wurden sie zur Rechenschaft gezogen? Wer waren ihre Opfer? Und welchen Anteil hatten die ehemaligen Verfolgten an diesen Prozessen? Hierzu gibt die von der KZ-Gedenkstätte Neuengamme entwickelte Ausstellung und das Unterrichtsmaterial des Landesinstituts für Lehrerbildung einen Überblick.
