TON-E Es war die Faszination für Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, die Elsa Dreisig früh auf die Idee brachte, Sängerin zu werden. Und so widmet die französisch-dänische Sopranistin ihr neues Album ganz dem Salzburger. Der Titel "Mozart x 3" bezieht sich auf die drei berühmten Opern, die der Komponist auf Texte des Librettisten Lorenzo Da Ponte schrieb: "Le nozze di Figaro", "Don Giovanni" und "Così fan tutte". Jede der drei Opern besitzt jeweils drei starke weibliche Hauptrollen; aus jeder der insgesamt neun Partien wählte Elsa Dreisig eine Arie für ihr Album aus. Die Gestalten in Mozarts Opern sind so vielfältig wie das Leben selbst. Jede einzelne Partie eine Welt für sich – und für Elsa Dreisig eine Möglichkeit, ihre Interpretationskunst und die Wandlungsfähigkeit ihrer Stimme unter Beweis zu stellen. Abgerundet wird das Album durch je eine weitere Arie aus den Mozart-Opern "La clemenza di Tito", "Idomeneo" und "Lucio Silla". Das Kammerorchester Basel begleitet die Sopranistin unter der Leitung von Louis Langrée, dem Direktor der gefeierten Pariser Opéra-Comique.
