Die vorliegende Studie analysiert in exemplarischer Weise anthropologische Konzepte in neueren und aktuellen Theorieparadigmen der Behindertenpädagogik. Dabei werden der Zusammenhang zwischen den Theoriegrundlagen des jeweiligen pädagogischen Konzepts, seinen anthropologischen Annahmen sowie den mit ihnen verbundenen ethischen, professionellen und gesellschaftlichen Schlussfolgerungen dargestellt und reflektiert. Der Aufbau orientiert sich an zentralen Paradigmen der Behindertenpädagogik: der geisteswissenschaftlichen Schweizer heilpädagogischen Schule, der Geisteswissenschaftlich-phänomenologischen Behindertenpädagogik, der Kritisch-rationalen Behindertenpädagogik, der Materialistischen Behindertenpädagogik, der Kritischen Behindertenpädagogik sowie der Ökosystemischen Behindertenpädagogik. Abschließend werden die analysierten anthropologischen Konzepte systematisiert, inhaltliche Schwerpunkte herausgearbeitet und Interdependenzen zwischen Theorieansatz, Anthropologie sowie ethischen, pädagogischen bzw. sozialen Konsequenzen aufgezeigt
