Als Grundmaterialien dienen in diesem attraktiv gestalteten Band verschiedene Papiersorten sowie Glitter, Bänder und Kordeln, Pailletten, Sticker und diverse Farben, Stifte und Tinten. In wirklich kindersicheren Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitungen werden die einzelnen Bastelschritte und die malerische Gestaltung beschrieben, doch da exaktes Nacharbeiten meist weder erwünscht noch notwendig ist, sind keine Kopiervorlagen beigegeben. Anders als im 2. o.g. Titel werden die geeigneten Farben stets angegeben, einschließlich ihrer Handhabung zum Erzielen bestimmter Effekte. Insgesamt entstehen hier keine aufwendigen Geschenke, dafür ganz besondere Weihnachtskarten und Verpackungen, originelles Geschenkpapier, Girlanden, Bilder und Collagen, frostige Winterzweige aus Alufolie, Mobiles u.a.m. Lediglich die Kugeln aus Sechsecken und die Mini-Laternen waren schon ähnlich zu sehen. Umgesetzt sind die typischen Vertreter der Jahreszeit (Hasen, Eier, Osterglocken, Schafe, Küken ...) in unterschiedlichen Techniken: Collagen, Aquarell, Drucken mit Fingern oder Gemüse, Papierbasteleien etc. Hin und wieder hätte eine Liste mit den benötigten Materialien für mehr Übersicht gesorgt (ansonsten erschließt sich das Material aus den Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitungen, eine Ausnahme bilden die Ostereierketten, bei der die Art der Farbe nicht verraten wird), aber die Modelle sind unkompliziert genug, dass das kein wirkliches Manko darstellt. "Osterbasteln für Klein & Groß" (BA 2/05) benötigt deutlich mehr erwachsene Hilfe, eher mit "Osterbasteln kinderleicht" (BA 3/07) vergleichbar. Die mehr als 30 Ideen lassen sich auch im Kindergarten oder Hort leicht umsetzen, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut, deshalb zur Bestandsauffrischung sehr gerne empfohlen.. - Farbenfrohe Basteleien für Ostern und den Frühling, die Kindern leicht gelingen.
