In den 7 Teilen geht in es im notorischen "Für-Dummies"-Gewand um die aktuellen Erkenntnisse zum Krebs, seine Entstehung, Diagnostik und Behandlung; es werden die Vorbereitungsmaßnahmen der Krebstherapie ebenso kompetent wie einfühlsam erläutert; dann die Therapie-Goldstandards von Strahl und Chemo ausführlich auch inkl. ihrer Nebenwirkungen und dem Umgang damit ausgebreitet; großer Wert wird dem unterstützenden Umfeld des Kranken beigemessen; schließlich ist die Zeit nach der Krebstherapie mit ihren Problemen (z.B. Rückfall) und ihren aufbauenden, auch spirituellen Anteilen Thema. Von alternativen/komplementärmedizinischen Ansätzen ist hier allerdings keine Rede.
