〈p〉Zu den Schlüsselaussagen Pannenbergscher Theologie gehört der Satz, wonach man Gott in seiner singulären Einzigkeit nicht denken könne, ohne ihn als Ursprung von allem, was ist, und also als Ursprung der Welt zu denken. Soll Gott als der eine Gott gedacht werden, dann muss er als alles bestimmende Wirklichkeit, als Schöpfer, Erhalter und Lenker nicht nur der Menschheit und ihrer Geschichte, sondern auch der extrahumanen Kreatur und dessen gedacht werden, was man Natur nennt. Will die Theologie die dafür nötige Gedankenarbeit leisten, darf sie sich mit der seit dem 18. Jahrhundert im Gang befindlichen Ablösung des naturwissenschaftlichen Weltbilds von der Gottesbeziehung nicht abfinden und die konstruktive und kritische Auseinandersetzung mit den Naturwissenschaften nicht scheuen. Statt die Gottesfrage auf die Anthropologie zu reduzieren und kosmologische Fragen auszublenden, muss der Dialog mit den Naturwissenschaften und der Naturphilosophie gesucht und eine Theologie der Natur entwickelt werden. Die Beiträge zum 5. Pannenberg-Kolloquium, das am 19./20. Oktober 2018 in der Münchener Hochschule für Philosophie zum Thema "Theologie der Natur" stattfand, sind im vorliegenden Band gesammelt.〈/p〉
