Mathematische Frühförderung ist längst Bestandteil der Kindergarten-Pädagogik. Im vorliegenden Praxisbuch für Vorschularbeit findet der Umgang mit Zahlen, Mengen, Maßeinheiten, Zeiteinteilung, Nummerierung u.s.w. durch Hören, Singen, Bewegen, Darstellen und Experimentieren statt. Buch und CD (Lieder in Voll- und Halbplayback-Version) sind hervorragend verzahnt, Layout und Illustrationen liebevoll gestaltet und die Mathe-Ratte Mathilde, die auf der CD mit ihrem Gesprächspartner in witzigen Dialogen die Liedtexte ergänzt, werden Kinder sowieso gleich ins Herz schließen.
