Wie bei den bisher besprochenen 3 Büchern der Autorin (zuletzt ID-A 50/10) handelt das aktuelle Buch von Benimm- und Stilfallen und deren Auswirkungen auf die Karriere. Der Fokus liegt auf dem, was es zu (ver-)meiden gilt. Bereits eine kleine Unkorrektheit kann den Aufstieg torpedieren. Die Autorin nennt 5 Bereiche: Äußeres, Essen, Kommunikation, Formsachen, Flirts; zu jedem erläutern Beispiele aus der Praxis die Fehler. Ziel dieser Vorgehensweise ist, für die je nach Branche unterschiedlichen Codes zu sensibilisieren und so die Dechiffrierung zu ermöglichen. Dann ist es auch möglich, Kriterien, die anderen wichtig sind, oder Kleinigkeiten, die für bestimmte Werte stehen, zu erkennen, also das Umfeld zu analysieren. Die Beispiele (durch Rahmen hervorgehoben) sind dabei immer gut gewählt und verdeutlichen den jeweiligen "Fettnapf". Danach immer eine Regel, die es zu beachten gilt. Gutes Inhaltsverzeichnis; das Buch kann so auch gezielt gelesen werden. Ausführlicher Quellennachweis (kein Literaturverzeichnis) und umfangreiches Register. Gut zu lesen, verständlich. (2)
