Tragi-comic, realistic feature début follows friendly, seeking Filip (17) who feels attracted to the local gay scene. Anna (16) wears impossible clothes, ugly lipstick and has a country hairstyle. She is standing hitchhiking on a country lane. Speedy sees her from his East German car and slams on his brakes. Anna asks him the way to Prague. She has run away from home and only knows Prague from the school books at the military school - where she should be right now. But she wants to exchange her military training for life in the big city. She drinks her first cappuccino and gazes in amazement at the regulars in a Bohemian bar. Towards dawn, Speedy's handsome and slightly mysterious brother Filip takes her to his apartment that is full of old household effects. There she also finds Speedy, the sleepy Irma who is suffering a seasonal depression and Kytka, who roams at night. This wild bunch has a very relaxed rhythm. An night no one goes to bed much before dawn, no one has to go to work in the morning, sometimes they smoke a joint. In other words, it's a great place to live. But that doesn't last long...There's no point in seeking a solution to the problems of today's youth in this fresh début film. Or, as the director himself says: 'Our film reveals who we are. We have slightly adapted the stories around us into a our own ideas and tried to create a kind of "pseudo-reality", a kind of tragic comedy, full of sarcasm and humour.'
