"Kinder und Enkelkinder der sogenannten Gastarbeiter*innen der 1960er-Jahre werfen mit ihrer Kunst einen einzigartigen Blick auf Deutschland. In "Kültür für Deutschland" geht es um die Geschichten dieser Künstler*innen und ihren Weg in die deutsche Kulturszene. Das Anwerbeabkommen zwischen Deutschland und der Türkei, also die Vereinbarung über die Entsendung von türkeistämmigen Arbeitnehmer*innen nach Deutschland, wurde im Oktober 1961 geschlossen. Die sogenannten Gastarbeiter*innen sollten eigentlich nach wenigen Jahren wieder zurück in ihr Heimatland gehen. Doch es kam anders: Heute leben in Deutschland mehr als 3,2 Millionen Menschen mit Wurzeln in der Türkei. Menschen, die ihre Kunst, ihre Musik und ihre Kultur mitbrachten. Ihre Kinder und Enkelkinder sind die Kunstschaffenden von heute und die Protagonist*innen der Dokumentation "Kültür für Deutschland". Welchen besonderen Herausforderungen oder Hindernissen müssen sie sich stellen? Wie kann man zwei so unterschiedliche Kulturen miteinander verbinden? Und wie hilft die Kunst bei der Integration? Namenhafte Künstler*innen wie Mousse T., Eko Fresh [...] erzählen von ihrem persönlichen Weg, ihrem künstlerischen Schaffen und den Herausforderungen, die sie zu meistern hatten und noch immer haben. Und Comedian Serdar Somuncu berichtet von seinen Erfahrungen auf seine ganz ureigene Weise.
