Schon immer haben Dichter:innen die Geschichte befragt und Quellenkunde betrieben, doch führten die politischen Umwälzungen der letzten dreißig Jahre, die Zunahme nationalistischer Abschottungen, Zerstörung von Ressourcen im Klimawandel und die gleichzeitige Orwellisierung unserer Datenströme vermehrt dazu, die Frage nach Zeugenschaft stärker ins Gedicht zu drängen. Das zwanzigste Jahrhundert sitzt im einundzwanzigsten Jahrhundert wie eine Matrjoschka, wispert aus dem Innern der Archive. Wo man sie öffnet und aufreiht, werden alte Leerstellen lesbar oder neue Lücken offenbar. Manches wird mutiert, chiffriert, als kleinere Matrjoschka zurücksortiert. Das Archiv, sagte Jacques Derrida, ist eine Frage der Zukunft, nicht der Vergangenheit. Poesie, schrieb die Lyrikerin Muriel Rukeyser, erweitert das Dokument. Wie erweitern Gedichte heute das Archiv? Und wenn vice versa Gedichte selbst opake, klingende Archive sind, wie erweitern sie unsere Vorstellung von Entzifferung der Wirklichkeit, vom Verstehen? Kann Klang als Kammer der Erinnerung retten, was in Archiven vergessen wird? - Uljana Wolf. Poetica7, das siebte Festival für Weltliteratur, wird vom Internationalen Kolleg Morphomata der Universität zu Köln zusammen mit der Deutschen Akademie für Sprache und Dichtung vom 24. bis 29. Januar 2022 in Köln veranstaltet (wenn nicht wg. der Pandemie verschoben wird).
