Katalog des Deutschen Historischen Museums Berlin zur Ausstellung (2002) über Hexenverfolgungen im 16./17. Jahrhundert. Die ursprünglich in Luxemburg erarbeitete Ausstellung wurde über regionale Bezüge hinaus erweitert und bezieht z.B. als Kontrast zum katholischen Milieu die Situation in einem protestantischen Gebiet ein. Ziel ist es, die psychologische Dimension der Hexenverfolgungen anhand historischer Quellenforschung zu beleuchten. So sollen verbreitete Vorurteile, falsche Zahlenangaben und pauschale Meinungen durch Verweis auf Fakten korrigiert werden (z.B. Umfang der Hinrichtungen, Betroffenheit von Männern, konfessionell bedingte Unterschiede). Explizite Artikel mit attraktiven Illustrationen von Exponaten, Faksimiles und Transkriptionen aus Hexenprozessakten. Für historisch interessierte Laien, Schüler ab Sekundarstufe II und Fachleute, die mehr über die politischen, gesellschaftlichen und mentalitätsgeschichtlichen Hintergründe und Begleitumstände erfahren wollen.
