Bernardo Figueiredo grew up and began his professional life in Ipanema, at a time when the Rio's beach district emanatled its creative manifestations around the world. He graduated at the height of the modern period and acted with pioneering and success in diverse creative experiences. Its product design ranges from furniture to the original design of the Itamaraty palace in Brasilia to a production that aimed to popularize access to furniture with design and quality. As an architect, he designed dozens of residential buildings, especially in Rio de Janeiro, dedicated himself to the architecture of international fairs, helping to build Brazilian identity in the 1960s and 70s, and inaugurated on his drawing board the era of shopping malls in the country
