Cette thèse porte sur le cas singulier du Parti des Travailleurs (PT) dans le District Fédéral (DF) au Brésil. Loin de l'épicentre petista lié aux usines métallurgistes de São Paulo, le PT a acquis une forme partisane particulière dans la configuration formée par le DF et où il a connu sa première expérience de gouvernement (1995-1998) dans une unité fédérative brésilienne. Après avoir restitué les conditions d'implantation du parti, à l'aide d'une étude des propriétés socio-politiques de ses membres et grâce à une démarche socio-historique de restitution de ses réseaux structurants, on s'est intéressé au rapport ambigu entretenu par le PT avec le pouvoir lors du passage au gouvernement de la région. La question posée a été de savoir en quelle mesure ce parti a été transformé par le pouvoir. Mis à l'épreuve par cette expérience, le PT/DF a connu ensuite des mouvements peu homogènes de recomposition, et notamment une transformation qualitative du lien partisan

The Brazilian Workers Party (PT) took its particular party form in the social configuration of the Federal District (DF), far away from its original context represented by the metallurgical plants of São Paulo. It's in this region that the parry acquired (1995-1998) its first government experience at the Federal unity level. After having reconstituted the conditions of the party implementation in the DF by studying the social and political properties of its members and using a socio-historical analysis so to reconstruct its structuring networks, this thesis shows the ambiguous relations between the PT and the power during their government in DF. The question was to know to what extent the government experience could transform this party. Challenged by this experience, the PT/DF underwent non-uniforms recomposition process of its internal space, in particular, a qualitative transformation of the party relation
