D 1994. Dem Industriemagnaten und Kanzler-Duzfreund Sebastian Rotwang trachten viele nach dem Leben: Seine betrogene Ehefrau heuert für den Mord einen Privatdetektiv an, der Modeboutiqueinhaber und frühere Auftragskiller Eigenrauch wird vom berüchtigten Terroristen Carlos reaktiviert und ein ehemaliger Stasi-Major kommt zwecks Rotwangs Eliminierung mit dem einstigen BKA-Mann und jetzigen Imbissbudenbesitzer Ringeltaub ins Geschäft. Ebenfalls mit von der Partie sind der Saarbrücker »Tatort«-Kommissar Palu, Moderator Dénes Törzs, Schauspieler Ulrich Tukur,Modeschöpfer Issey Miyake und sogar Regielegende Brian de Palma. Hans-Christoph Blumenbergs selbstbetitelte »Rezessionskomödie« ist eine ungestüme Krimi-Satire, in der Woody Allens Synchronstimme schon mal die Regieanweisungen gibt oder Blumenberg selbst die Hauptdarstellerin energisch auffordert, den blanken Busen in die Kamera zu halten. Mit Plastiksauriern wird »Jurassic Park« nachgestellt und Helmut Kohl im Abspann als »Fat Man« gelistet.(Zweitausendeins Edition)
