El surgimiento de un nuevo panorama competitivo, como respuesta al acelerado cambio tecnológico que se presenta, y a una economía mundial, más globalizada , en donde la innovación y la capacidad de introducir bienes y servicios en nuevos mercados, hace que no solo las empresas, sino también los países sean presionados a ser cada día más competitivos. La competitividad es un factor determinante para poder posicionar cualquier tipo de bien o servicio que se quiera dar a conocer; permite que el consumidor confié en lo que está adquiriendo y al mismo tiempo permite que la empresa pueda tener un reconocimiento a nivel internacional de manera más rápida y efectiva. Actualmente en el país existen muchos ejemplos de negocios altamente competitivos que han permitido que Colombia sea vista con otros ojos a niveles internacionales. Santander ha sido el que mayor provecho le ha sacado al turismo y se ha posicionado como una región altamente turística; ya que cuenta con una belleza natural imponente la cual permite dar a conocer sus atractivos en deportes extremos tales como canotaje, rafting y parapente entre otros que muestran a la región como una de las más prometedoras e impulsadoras de la economía del país. El presente estudio de competitividad, está dirigido a determinar el grado y dimensión de las ventajas competitivas del Parque Nacional del Chicamocha, esto con el ánimo de que sea una institución auto sostenible en el tiempo y maneje rendimientos elevados y duraderos.Finalmente se plantearán los hallazgos y las conclusiones obtenidas después de realizar el análisis de la información recopilada. Es importante destacar el conocimiento que se puede adquirir con este trabajo, no solo para el parque en particular sino para el sector y el grado de desarrollo que puede llegar a generar a nivel empresarial en el ámbito regional y nacional.

The emergence of a new competitive landscape, in response to rapid technological change that occurs as a world economy globalized, where innovation and the ability to introduce new goods and services markets, makes not only business but countries also are pressured to be increasingly competitive.Competitiveness is a key factor to position any type of good or service that intends to disclose, allows consumers to have confidence in what you're getting and at the same time allowing the company to have an international recognition more quickly and effectively. Currently in the country there are many examples of highly competitive businesses that have allowed Colombia to be seen with new eyes to international levels. Santander has been the greatest benefit has been drawn to tourism and has positioned itself as a highly touristic region, as it boasts stunning natural beauty which allows to present their attractions in extreme sports such as canoeing, rafting and paragliding and other that show the region as one of the most promising and boost the economy of the country. This study of competitiveness is to determine the degree and extent of the competitive advantages Chicamocha National Park, this in mind it is a self-sustaining institution in time and high efficiency and durable handle.Finally, raise the findings and conclusions after performing the analysis of information gathered. Importantly, the knowledge that is available with this work not only for the park in particular but for the sector and the degree of development that can generate business at the regional and national.
