Im Schulalltag geraten Lehrer:innen häufig in moralische Konfliktsituationen, in denen sie Entscheidungen treffen müssen. Dieses Buch soll dabei helfen, sich mit solchen Konflikten auseinanderzusetzen. Es werden sechs Fallgeschichten vorgestellt, in denen Lehrer:innen jeweils zu einer Entscheidung gezwungen sind. In den Fallgeschichten geht es um die Versetzung einer Schülerin, eine Empfehlung für die Förderschule, einen Schulverweis, das Vertrauensverhältnis zu Schüler:innen, eine Zugangsquote für benachteiligte Schüler:innen und eine verpflichtende Klassenfahrt. Die Fallgeschichten werden von jeweils fünf Expert:innen ausführlich kommentiert, die aus verschiedenen Bereichen der Wissenschaft und Schulpraxis kommen und die Konflikte aus je unterschiedlichen Perspektiven betrachten. Das Buch ermöglicht eine systematische Reflexion moralischer Konflikte des Schulalltags, um die eigene Urteilsfähigkeit zu schärfen. Es richtet sich an Lehramtsstudierende und kann in Seminaren, aber auch in der Weiterbildung eingesetzt werden.
