Biographisches: "Orhan Pamuk, 1952 in Istanbul geboren, wollte ursprünglich Maler werden, studierte dann aber Architektur und Journalismus an der Universität Istanbul. Er lebte mehrere Jahre in New York und ist einer der erfolgreichsten Prosaschriftsteller in der Türkei. 1995 erschien sein Roman »Das schwarze Buch«, 1998 »Das neue Leben«, 2001 »Rot ist mein Name« und 2005 »Schnee«, es folgten noch viele andere. Für seine Romane erhielt er 1990 den Independent Foreign Fiction Prize und 1991 den Prix de la découverte européenne. 2005 wurde er mit dem Friedenspreis des deutschen Buchhandels und dem Ricarda-Huch-Preis ausgezeichnet. Den Höhepunkt seiner Karriere als Schriftsteller erreichte Orhan Pamuk, als ihm 2006 die Schwedische Akademie den Nobelpreis für Literatur verlieh. Im Hörverlag erschienen von ihm bereits: »Rot ist mein Name«, »Schnee«, »Das Museum der Unschuld«, »Das stille Haus« und »Istanbul«." Biographisches: "Jens Wawrczeck, 1963 in Dänemark geboren, erhielt seine Schauspielausbildung in Hamburg, Wien und New York. Seitdem ist er regelmäßig auf der Bühne zu sehen und hat seit seinen Anfängen beim NDR-Kinderfunk in unzähligen Hörspielen mitgewirkt. Seit 1979 ist er Teil des Kult-Trios »Die drei ???«. In seiner eigenen Hörbuchedition AUDOBA widmet er sich außergewöhnlicher und in Vergessenheit geratener Literatur, u. a. den Romanen, die der große Sir Alfred Hitchcock verfilmt hat. Jens Wawrczeck wurde sowohl als Schauspieler als auch als Hörbuchinterpret mehrfach ausgezeichnet. 2016 erhielt er den Sonderpreis des Deutschen Hörbuchpreises. Sein gesangliches Können stellt er auf seinem Soloalbum »Lost in Filmsongs« unter Beweis."
