Das Programmsystem DISMA (Disaster Management) für Personalcomputer ist ein Hilfsmittel für das Gefahrenabwehrmanagement in Katastrophenschutzbehörden, Stäben der Katastrophenschutzleitungen, Leitstellen, Technischen Einsatzleitungen und in einer angepassten Version für betriebliche Einsatzleitungen. Das System ermöglicht eine sinnvolle Gefahrenabwehrplanung, unterstützt bei Eintritt einer Gefahrensituation die Lagefeststellung, Lageführung und weiter Handlungen einer Einsatzleitung auf der Bildschirmkarte, gestattet das Ausmaß von Schäden abzuschätzen und gibt Informationen, wie benötigtes Personal alarmiert wird und wo sich erforderliche Fahrzeuge, Geräte und Materialien befinden. Nach Vorstellung des Konzepts von DISMA im einzelnen wird das Programm mit Systemarchitektur, Datensystem und den einzelnen Programmfunktionen beschrieben. Ein Abriss über einige Modelle zur Gefahrenabschätzung und ein Überblick über DISMA-Anwendungen in Betrieben runden die Vorstellung ab.
