[Alle meine Mädchen] Der Regiestudent Ralf Päschke soll für sein erstes eigenes Projekt einen Dokumentarfilm über eine Frauenbrigade im Narva-Glühlampenwerk an der Warschauer Straße in Berlin drehen. Die fünf Mädchen und ihre resolute Meisterin wirken auf den ersten Blick wie ein Vorzeigekollektiv, doch je persönlicher Ralfs Beziehung zu den Arbeiterinnen wird, desto mehr Konflikte und Spannungen kommen ans Licht. Besonders die Abiturientin Kerstin wird von den anderen ausgegrenzt, weil sie wegen Diebstahls vorbestraft und deshalb zur Bewährung in der Brigade ist. Ralf und Kerstin kommen sich näher, doch als eines Tages Geld verschwindet, verdächtigen alle Kerstin – auch Ralf? [Alle meine Mädchen]

[Wäre die Erde nicht rund ...]Christiane aus der DDR und Hatem aus Syrien lernen sich beim Geologie-Studium in Moskau kennen. Sie lieben sich, haben ein Kind zusammen. Bis zum Ende der Ausbildung ist das Paar mit vielen Schwierigkeiten fertig geworden, mit der Enge im Wohnheim, mit Geldknappheit und der Doppelrolle als Studentin und Mutter. Andere Barrieren lassen sich nicht so leicht überwinden: Für Christiane bedeutet der Beruf mehr als Broterwerb. Ihr Traum ist es, in Syrien zu suchen, was dieses Land am dringendsten braucht: Wasser. Doch Hatem erklärt ihr, dass sie in Syrien als Frau nicht als Geologin arbeiten kann. In der DDR will Hatem auch nicht leben, denn das käme ihm wie Verrat an seinem Land vor.
