Sie hat deshalb eine ausführliche Benutzungsanleitung für dieses soziale Netzwerk geschrieben, eine Anleitung, die eigentlich vom Unternehmen Facebook selbst kommen müsste. Da Facebook aber (noch) kostenlos ist, kann man da nichts erwarten. Die Autorin weist dagegen nachdrücklich auf die vielen eher versteckten Fußangeln hin, die Facebook auslegt, um die oft vertrauensseligen Benutzer zu veranlassen, höchst private Dinge öffentlich zu machen, einschließlich des eigenen E-Mail-Adressbuchs. Die Hinweise der Verfasserin sind lobenswert, will man den Empfehlungen folgen, kann man aber zum Workaholic werden. Man muss alle Menüs von Facebook aufrufen, hier ein Häkchen setzen, dort einige entfernen und interessante Apps laden. Statistisch verbringen Facebook-Benutzer täglich eine Stunde im Netzwerk, das wird jetzt mehr werden, hinzu kommt die Lektüre dieses gut aufgemachten Buchs im Querformat, das links stets einen farbigen Screenshot zeigt, der rechts kommentiert wird.
