Note: Extras: 3 Minions-Mini-Movies. Der Bildschirm wird grün. Wer ist Wer in Who-Ville. Meine frühesten Grinch-Erinnerungen. Grinch-Maschinen. Musikvideo "Youre a Mean One, Mr. Grinch". Content: Rezension(1): "Theodor Seuss Geisel-aka Dr. Seuss-is, quite simply, one of the most beloved children's book authors of all time. The forty-four books he wrote and illustrated under the name Dr. Seuss (and others that he wrote but did not illustrate, including some under the pseudonyms Theo. LeSieg and Rosetta Stone) have been translated into thirty languages. Hundreds of millions of copies have found their way into homes and hearts around the world. Dr. Seuss's long list of awards includes Caldecott Honors for McElligot's Pool, If I Ran the Zoo, and Bartholomew and the Oobleck,/i〉 the Pulitzer Prize, and eight honorary doctorates. Works based on his original stories have won three Oscars, three Emmys, three Grammys, and a Peabody." Rezension(2): "〈a href=http://www.audiofilemagazine.com target=_blank〉〈img src=https://images.contentreserve.com/audiofile_logo.jpg alt=AudioFile Magazine border=0 /〉〈/a〉:Dr. Seuss would delight in this presentation of his work. For those of us steeped in the illustrations of Dr. Seuss's work, it's surprising that the spoken words stand so well on their own. They do, very well, and offer a whole new dimension for appreciating a fine collection of Seuss favorites. Each narrator in the ensemble, Jason Alexander, David Hyde Pierce, and Michael McKean, conveys sparkle and dimension. Pause and pace are used deftly. Tone and inflection are spirited and full of the lightness that one imagines Seuss himself would use when giving voice to his characters. Playful musical interludes and sound effects add just the right emphasis and zaniness. An outstanding total package. A.R. Winner of AudioFile Earphones Award, 2004 Audie Award Finalist, 2005 Spoken Word Grammy Nominee (c) AudioFile 2004, Portland, Maine"

Oh, the Places You',l Go! Pop-Up! Dr. Seuss , pop-ups by David A. Carter. Random/Corey , $28.99 (22p) ISBN 978-0-375-85227-5For its 20th anniversary, this ubiquitous classic gets the pop-up treatment, retaining Seuss', buoyant text and original illustrations. Wide flaps containing pop-up vignettes fold down toward readers, alternating with dramatic and impressive full-spread landscapes. Carter', pop-ups capably amplify the message about finding balance when life overwhelms: an erratic, multistory pop-up house teeters above, as the small protagonist can be seen riding an elephant (“,ith banner flip-flapping”, down below and scoring a basket at the very top. This edition of this graduation-time favorite is likely to pop up in dorm rooms come fall. Up to age 3."

Van Vleck, a very small bug, is getting sleepy, and his yawn-contagious as yawns are-sets off a chain reaction, making all those around him feel sleepy, too!
