"24 Stunden am Berliner Alexanderplatz, erzählt in einer Fülle von Einzelschicksalen und Geschichten, in deren Mittelpunkt ein junger Herumtreiber gerät, der in den Tod eines Großdealers verwickelt wird, nicht nur eine verliebte Berlin-Besucherin, sondern auch zwei Wachschutzleute und zwei Gangster am Hals hat. Zudem scheint eine planetarische Katastrophe bevorzustehen, und eine junge Frau setzt alles daran, um die Stadt zu retten. Konzentriert auf diesen Mikrokosmos, versucht der formal wie narrative unkonventionelle Film, das Lebensgefühl in der Hauptstadt wiederzugeben.
