Rez.: In 15 Kapiteln erzählt der bekannte Autor die Abenteuer des Odysseus nach, der nach der Erstürmung von Troja den Zorn der Götter auf sich zieht und erst nach 10jähriger Irrfahrt den heimischen Palast und die von Freiern bedrängte Penelope wiedersieht. Inkiows Erzählstil ist einfach und eingängig. Er verkürzt den Stoff zu handlichen, verständlichen Szenen, die in ihrer griffigen, entstaubten Sprache Schwung und Pep in das Geschehen bringen. Passend dazu die flott-karikierenden Schwarz-Weiß-Zeichnungen. Im Anhang knappe Erläuterungen zu Göttern und Göttinnen des Olymp. Eine versierte Leser schon im Grundschulalter ansprechende und damit eine Lücke füllende Nachgestaltung des antiken Stoffes. Neben der sich altersgemäß anschließenden Prosabearbeitung des Epos durch U. Karger (s. "Homer", BA 4/97) überall empfehlenswert.
