Die durchgreifende Ökonomisierung der Gesellschaft und der sozialen Arbeit hat zu anomischen Tendenzen geführt, die vielfach als Werteverlust und Entsolidarisierung beklagt werden. Doch es ist zu einfach, z.B. Individualisierung mit Gleichgültigkeit oder Egoismus gleichzusetzen, da Individualität und Sozialität nach wie vor eng miteinander verwoben sind, aber andere Formen angenommen haben. Deshalb erweist sich auch die Deutung von verloren - wiederherstellbar bezüglich des Sozialen als grundsätzlich problematisch. Vielmehr muss es für die Heilpädagogik (wie Sozialen Arbeit insgesamt), der es um Teilhabe und Gleichberechtigung behinderter und benachteiligter Menschen zu tun ist, um die kritische Rekonstruktion sozialphilosophischer Diskurse gehen. In diesem Zusammenhang wird - im Anschluss an Adorno und Hannah Arendt - die Verschiedenheit der Individuen als sozialethische Basis herausgearbeitet. (Orig.)
