Untersuchung zum Einfluß der innerparteilichen Gruppierung "Militant Tendency" (MT) auf die Willensbildung der britischen Labour Party. Hervorgehoben wird der duale Charakter von MT, die revolutionäre Ideologie und reformistische Praxis miteinander verbindet. Der Erfolg von MT beruht z.T. auf der Verschärfung der sozialen und politischen Widersprüche in der britischen Gesellschaft, der Infragestellung der Labour-Vorstellung vom 'Verteilungs-Sozialismus' und der reformistischen Identitätskrise der Partei. MT ist Produkt dieser Prozesse, nicht Auslöser. Wesentlich ist, daß MT den Legalitätsanspruch der institutionalisierten Arbeiterbewegung und ihrer Führung in Frage stellt und so Konflikte auslöst. Integration in die Partei erfordert eine neue Einstellung gegenüber der Labour-Linken. (AuD-Hng)
