Der humanistisch gebildete Theatermann legt erneut eine Übersetzung vor, die sich nicht nur auf der Bühne bewährt hat - 2010 erprobte er sie im Rahmen der Salzburger Festspiele mit Klaus Maria Brandauer in der Hauptrolle -, sondern ihre sprachliche Kraft und Schönheit auch bei der Lektüre entfaltet.
