Die Bände entstanden aus der Kooperation des Fachbereichs Psychologie mit dem Institut für Bildende Kunst, Fachbereich Germanistik und Kunstwissenschaften an der Philipps-Universität Marburg. Die Studierenden der Bildenden Kunst sind für die Illustration, die Studierenden der Psychologie für Text und Inhalte und die Gestaltung der Bücher verantwortlich. In den Büchern geht es darum Kindern in belastenden Situationen Unterstützung und Hilfen zu bieten. Hier geht es um den Koboldjungen Avi, der sich von Freunden zurückzieht und sich schämt, weil sein Vater eine psychische Krankheit hat; seine Lehrerin kriegt das mit und kann vermitteln. Neben der Geschichte gibt es wieder Hintergrundwissen, Informationsmaterial, Mitmachseiten, etc. sowie Literatur- und Adressenverzeichnis.
