ENGLISH: Teaching and research of theology and philosophy in Africa is facing serious challenges: Contents and methods of study programmes are often coined by European universalism. Tertiary institutions depend largely on foreign funding. The concrete questions of the people in the African societies which suffer from a variety of marginalization processes are hardly taken into consideration by the traditional theological and philosophical teaching. This compilation attempts at analyzing the situation and suggests a closer collaboration between African tertiary institutions as well as a reappropriation of the African traditional heritage.
