Die Persönlichkeitsentwicklung im Jugendalter muss stets auf der Folie der jeweiligen gesellschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen betrachtet werden. Veränderungen wie etwa die Ausweitung der Schulzeit oder eine zunehmende Medialisierung stellen solche Komponenten dar, sie bieten einerseits den Individuen eine Vielzahl an Freiheitsgraden, andererseits sind damit auch Risiken verbunden, die negative psychosoziale Entwicklungen begünstigen können. In diesem Zusammenhang werden insbesondere steigende Prävalenzraten psychisch- und sozial-abweichenden Erlebens und Verhaltens intensiv diskutiert. Ziel der Präventionsforschung ist die Stärkung der psychischen Widerstandskraft Heranwachsender, hierbei spielt seit geraumer Zeit das Konzept der Resilienz eine entscheidende Rolle. Im Rahmen der Resilienzforschung sollen diesbezüglich nachhaltig wirksame Schutzfaktoren identifiziert werden, wobei gerade auch der Faktor des Vertrauenserlebens im Jugendalter zu berücksichtigen ist. Basierend auf dem dynamisch-transaktionalen Paradigma und der differentiellen Vertrauenstheorie wird von daher in der vorliegenden empirischen Arbeit die Bedeutung unterschiedlicher Vertrauensbeziehungen (Vertrauensnetz) im Resilienzgeschehen und im Prozess potenziell abweichenden Erlebens und Verhaltens in der Adoleszenz untersucht; hieraus resultierende Implikationen für die pädagogisch-psychologische Forschung und Praxis werden abschließend diskutiert.
