Die Fronten lassen sich nicht rein neutestamentlich lösen, sondern erfordern die Einbeziehung neuester judaistischer Erkenntnisse zum Frühjudentum vor dem Fall des Tempels. Dies ermöglicht die Interpretation, dass Paulus nicht seinen Glauben wechselte (vom Juden zum Christen), sondern unter dem Eindruck des Christusereignisses gestützt auf frühjüdische Argumentationsmuster eine neue Leseweise seines jüdischen Glaubens propagierte.
