    Uniform Title: Speeches and writings of sociologists and apprentice sociologists : life stories and sociological stances
    Content: À partir d’un corpus d’écrits sociologiques, d’entretiens et de récits de vie, nous étudions les airs de famille, les affinités de style mais aussi les incohérences, les contradictions ou encore les non-dits qui circulent entre, d’un côté, les expériences biographiques des « apprentis sociologues » et de leurs directeurs de thèse respectifs et, de l’autre côté, leurs expériences de recherche et prises de position sociologiques. Nous mettons alors en évidence le fait que des dispositions (ethnographique, scolastique…) s’interposent entre ces deux formes d’expériences, les structurant et médiatisant leurs influences réciproques. Corrélativement, nous avançons que des registres d’identifications (symboliques, imaginaires et réelles) circulent aussi entre l’histoire de vie des (apprentis) sociologues et leurs prises de position sociologiques. Aussi, s’ils peuvent se traduire en diverses dispositions (critique, paranoïaque et sceptique), ces registres identificatoires structurent des formes d’assujettissement (par lesquelles le sociologue peut être sujet de « l’Autre de la culture », de « la culture du narcissisme » ou encore de sa situation socio-historique) mais ils peuvent aussi participer à l’advènement de sa subjectivation. Par ailleurs, ce travail de recherche révèle que les diverses tensions épistémologiques opposant les professeurs « établis » et « marginaux » de la section étudiée, reposent notamment sur leurs écarts dispositionnels. Le processus par lequel les apprentis sociologues intègrent cette configuration et rencontrent ses figures professorales (symboliques et imaginaires) pouvant prendre la forme de l’entrée progressive dans un « ordre du discours »

    Content: Cette thèse s'inscrit dans l'axe des travaux sur l'engagement. Son objectif est d'explorer le paradigme de la communication engageante. Il s'agit d'effectuer un rapprochement entre les théories de la Persuasion et celle de l'Engagement (Joule, Girandola & Bernard, 2007). L'intérêt de cette démarche est d'allier deux champs théoriques traditionnellement disjoints dans le processus lié au changement d'attitude et de comportement. Les théories de la Persuasion ont considérablement contribué à la compréhension des mécanismes du traitement de l'information, mais également à ceux touchant le changement d'attitude. Selon ces théories, il est nécessaire de peser sur les idées pour atteindre les comportements. A l'inverse, l'engagement préconise d'agir à partir du comportement pour atteindre l'activité cognitive. Cette activité entraîne à sa suite un changement d'attitude et ce jusqu'à la production de nouveaux comportements. Notre réflexion peut-être posée en ces termes : dans quelle(s) mesure(s) l'engagement dans un acte suivi de la lecture d'un message persuasif, influe-t-il sur l'aspect cognitif et sur l'intention comportementale des individus ?
    Content: This thesis falls within the works on the commitment. Its objective is to investigate paradigm of the binding communication. It is a question of making a link between the theories of the Persuasion and the Commitment (Joule, Girandola & Bernard, 2007).The interest of this approach is to combine two theoretical fields traditionally separated in the process connected to the attitude change and behavior. The theories of the Persuasion considerably contributed to the understanding of the mechanisms to the data processing, but also to those concerning the change of attitude. According to these theories, it is necessary to press on the ideas to reach the behavior. Conversely, the commitment recommends to act from the behavior to reach the cognitive activity. This activity leads behind an attitude change and it until the production of new behavior. Our reflection maybe put in these terms: in what measure the commitment in an act followed by the reading of a persuasive message, does it influence the cognitive aspect and the behavioral intention ?

    Uniform Title: The conjugal reflection : reading the social link in Pierre-Joseph Proudhon's philosophy.
    Content: Proudhon est un auteur à multiples entrées, sa philosophie forgée dans la polémique et dans la contradiction donne à lire autant de richesses que d'ouvertures. Pourtant, malgré un anarchisme affirmé, un engagement révolutionnaire, une pensée progressiste, Proudhon conserve tout au long de son œuvre une vision réactionnaire de la famille, misogyne et rétrograde de la femme. Cherchant à caractériser les propriétés et l'origine de sa philosophie "idéo-réaliste" nous tacherons de comprendre ces positions et de relever, outre les aberrations, une cohérence d'ensemble. Ce parcours implique d'examiner l'esthétique proudhonienne à hauteur de sa conception de la femme et du dynamisme social, deux points qui enrichissent sa philosophie du mariage, dont il nous appartenait de considérer la valeur. Enfin, la question de la fraternité est abordée, elle est concomitante de celle de la famille, nous l'avons posé à la fois sous l'angle philosophique mais aussi sous celui de la vie personnelle du philosophe, l'un éclairant l'autre
    Content: Having borrowed his methodology from Charles Fourier, Proudhon looks for order and balance in a reshaped economic order founded on individual decisions made by all free individuals. While his philosophy is essentially reformist, anarchist, and revolutionary, he has conservative, retrograde views on women and the family. Moreover, fraternity, which the 1848 Revolution has incorporated as part of the nation's motto, is rejected by the Franche-Comté philosopher, who is dismissive of all social links based on feelings. Yet what are the consequences on social cohesion? Is it to be reduced to purely functional relations within a labor-based framework? In fact, Proudhon's “ideo-realist” conception admits other cohesive factors: these include the family, seen as a “judicial organ”; a theory of art based on Courbet's works; and views derived from his own sense of his membership in the Masonic brotherhood – three themes that have hitherto received scant attention

    Content: Ce travail se propose d’étudier les représentations que véhiculent les romans à propos de l’exil espagnol en direction de la France et de l’émigration économique espagnole (1960-1970) en direction de la France et de l’Allemagne en particulier, thèmes traités en majorité dans les narrations espagnoles depuis la sortie du best-seller de Javier Cercas, Soldados de Salamina. Ce dernier a grandement influencé les récits sur l’exil et aussi sur l’émigration avec la mise en scène du mode de l’enquête, par exemple. Ces narrations offrent un complément essentiel par rapport aux recherches des historiens sur l’exil et l’émigration. Enfin, ces représentations narratives, parfois en accord et d’autres fois en désaccord avec celles présentes dans la littérature antérieure, possèdent un but commun : comprendre l’immigration actuelle en Espagne et par conséquent, l’Autre et sa propre identité
    Content: This work means to study the representations that are illustrated in novels about the exile from Spain to France and about economic emigration (1960-1970) to France and especially to Germany. Those themes have been mostly dealt with in Spanish literature since the Javier Cercas’ best seller publication, Soldados de Salamina. Javier Cercas greatly influenced the narratives about exile and emigration thanks to such use as investigation method for example. Those works afford an essential additional information with regard to historians research on exile and emigration. Finally, these narrative representations, sometimes in harmony and other times in discrepancy concerning those found in previous literature, aim at the same purpose: understanding the present immigration to Spain, and therefore, understanding the Other and their own identity

    Content: The purpose of this thesis is to address the issue of difficulties that Palestinian students encounter in learning French as a Foreign Language at An-Najah University in Nablus. Our research focuses primarily on the articulation of educational culture, representations of foreign languages, context of learning, and role of others in relation to students' learning practices. Mainly based on a corpus of interviews and questionnaires submitted to investigated students, questionnaires to teachers of French at An-Najah University and a French public counterpart, the study shows that students of the study adopt learning practices issued from a traditional educational culture, inadequate with the objectives of the French program, which promote innovative teaching approaches. Crossing students' test findings with teachers' confirms that both traditional school learning practices and institutional context affect significantly the course of learning. The outcome of the French public survey reveals that the specificity of learning practices of the investigated students inheres in the way they use them, which is determined by the culture and the individual varieties of the learner, rather than in the practice itself. Moreover, findings of the interviews (conducted according to the reflexive approach), show that students categorize themselves according to beliefs influenced by others and to negative emotions interfering during learning, which greatly affect their cognition, relationship with others as well as behavior. A discourse analysis emphasizes that, in case of communication difficulties, students tend to activate cognitive and interactive skills, which definitely conform to their learning attitudes observed in the outcome of the study. The central issue of the thesis is to highlight the question of difficulties in learning a foreign language by showing that it is not confined only to language proficiency, but is a complex process, which involves considering the multi-dimensionality of the learner (cognition, emotions, behaviors and relationships). The specificity of this study, the first conducted among Palestinian students within this training program, lies in its dual socio-cultural and psycho-pedagogical approach that focuses on the learner and places him within his environment
