Konstruktive Crashgedanken lautet der Untertitel, und das ist es, was dem Autor am Herzen liegt. Das Buch war vor Beginn der Coronakrise fertig, im Nachtrag verweist der Autor darauf, dass die Erlangung von Robustheit in finanzieller, beruflicher, Hinsicht sich in jeder (unvorhersehbaren) Krise bewähren würde. Walz stellt Fakten zum Euro, zur Niedrigzinspolitik, Verschuldung, zur Ertragsschwäche der Banken dar und erklärt mögliche Folgen, die aber kein sicherer Hinweis auf einen Eurocrash seien. Er zeigt mögliche Zielkonflikte zwischen Systemschutz und Verbraucherschutz auf. Für Anleger hat er allgemein gültige Regeln und Handlungsanweisungen parat, wie eine sinnvolle Diversifikation und das Meiden von Anlagevehikeln.
