In dieser Folge wird Kamala Khan, muslimische Tochter pakistanischer Einwanderer, in Band 1 durch den Kontakt mit Terrigen-Nebel zur neuen "Ms. Marvel" mit Superkräften mutiert, zum Spielball anderer Superhelden. In der letzten Folge (Bd. 3: "Der Ernst des Lebens", ID-A 27/16) begann diese Auseinandersetzung zwischen den Superhelden, in dieser Folge soll Kamala im Auftrag ihrer Namensgeberin Capitän Marvel eine Gruppe von Jugendlichen anführen, die aufgrund der Visionen des Mediums "Ulysses" Verbrecher festsetzen sollen, bevor diese die geplanten Verbrechen begehen. Eine klare Anspielung auf den Film "Minority report" (IN 5/03), was dort schief geht, wird für Kamala alias "Ms. Marvel" auch hier zum moralischen Problem: Mit welchem Recht darf ihre Truppe Menschen vorübergehend festsetzen, die (noch) keine Taten begangen haben? Plötzlich steht sie auf der moralisch falschen Seite und verliert die Unterstützung ihrer wahren Freunde. Was soll sie tun? Eine gut gelungene Folge mit der modernen, humanistisch agierenden muslimischen Superheldin "Ms Marvel". Gerne erneut breit zur Fortsetzung empfohlen.
