"İlyas is a truck driver from Istanbul who comes to a remote village. He and a village girl, Asya, fall in love and get married. Their child is born, who they name Samet. İlyas frequently leaves the village for his job and Asya is left alone to care for Samet. One day, İlyas leaves and never comes back. Asya grows worried and takes off with Samet to search for him but to no avail. They meet a man, Cemşit, who takes pity on them and offers them food and shelter. Samet becomes increasingly fond of Cemşit and Asya begins to see that Samet thinks of him as a father.
