    Content: Die Verfasser legen in ihrer Studie dar, daß die Karbonat-Zementdecken an der Unterseite von Geröllen in semiariden Klimaten eine andere Genese durchlaufen, als die Kalk-Konkretionen der temperierten Zonen. Durch ihre mikro- und makroskopischen Untersuchungen der mineralogischen Prozesse und petrographischen Zusammensetzungen stellen sie fest, daß die Gebilde von außen nach innen mit einer speziellen Kristallisationsfolge wachsen.
