The documentary is divided into the following seven chapters (pages). Page 1 - On the Volga: early childhood, youth and student activities. Page 2 - Leader of Russian Marxists: work in the Samara law office, Siberian exile and as leader of the League of Struggle. Page 3 - The Spark Will Kindle the Flame: life in Geneva, founding the newspaper Iskra, the 1905 Revolution. Page 4 - Years of Emigration: living in Geneva, Paris and Poland, the First World War and Pravda. Page 5 - Leader of the Socialist Revolution: the removal of the Tsar and the provisional government, the proposed armed uprising. Page 6 - Founder of the Soviet State: socialist decrees on land and peace, the move to Moscow, foreign military intervention, and the assassination attempt. Page 7 - Architect of the New World: economic policy, the electrification plan and Lenin's legacy
